Knowit Oy has won and signed a framework agreement with KL-Kuntahankinnat Oy which is owned by the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities and acts as a central purchasing company on behalf of its regional and local government clientele.
Knowit has signed a frame agreement in service area "C. Programming, Integration and Testing Services" which will be valid for the next 48 months. All in all, 15 companies were chosen.
- Winning the frame agreement further strengthens our position in the public sector. In spring, we became a supplier for Hansel in three different service categories. Knowit wants to be part of the process of moving Finland towards more efficient and all-round digitalization, says Ville Särmälä, CEO of Knowit Oy.
KL-Kuntahankinnat Oy acts on behalf of its clientele by tendering framework agreements and handling the related contract management. They focus on agreements of large volume to bring significant benefits in the form of cost savings and/or process advantages.
Knowit Oy was earlier chosen as a central government supplier and signed contracts with Hansel, government’s central purchasing body, operating in the same role as Kammarkollegiet in Sweden, in three categories.
