Polygon chose Knowit
Published: 3 July, 2014
The property damage restoration company in humidity and climate control, Polygon, has signed an agreement with Knowit regarding a new Business Intelligence solution. The assignment encompasses a total solution and Knowit will be developing a platform for handling reports, analyses and a dashboard with underlying data warehouse.
The goal for Polygon is to reinforce its business through increased transparency in business processes and follow-up of projects and finances. When the project has been completed, 500 project managers and field technicians will be able to follow up on and analyze their projects in Android tablets. By offering easily accessible information to Polygon’s employees at the furthest reaches of the organization, they get better control of their own costs and revenue flows.
Knowit is supplying consultancy services in project management, design, requirements, development, testing and application management. The solution is based on presentation software from Tableau and data warehousing from Microsoft.
The project will commence in June and is to be completed in October 2014, with consultants from Knowit in Stockholm and Göteborg.
– Tableau, one of the most discussed products in the BI world today, delivers immediate operational benefits through great visualization and quick development time, says Thomas Nord, CEO at Knowit Helikopter AB in Stockholm.
– Currently, this is one of our most important projects. To deliver correct and intuitive decision support to our staff in the field will have a direct and positive effect on our profitability, says Mats Norberg, CFO at Polygon.
Polygon helps clients protect values by preventing and minimizing the effects of humidity and water damages.
